Description

A daily-use exfoliating powder. Upon contact with water the powder polishes skin to help balance uneven skin tone while calming the skin. It removes dulling surface debris and evens skin tone to reveal brighter, smoother skin, and is gentle enough for daily use.

How to use

Dispense about a half-teaspoon into very wet hands and create a creamy paste by rubbing hands together. Apply to face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Massage gently for one minute, then rinse thoroughly.

2. Product Rating

4.6 / 5

★★★★★ — 13,897 global ratings (Amazon US)

Skinsort community: 4.6 · 10 reviews · price tier $$$$

The product is a long-standing best seller in the Facial Scrubs category, sustaining a 4.6/5 average across a very large rating base (13,897 ratings). Ratings are small-sample community aggregates on the Skinsort side and a large marketplace aggregate on the Amazon side; both align at 4.6.

3. Product Ingredients

The ingredient analysis merges the Skinsort community table (28 ingredients, INCI order, with comedogenic / irritancy ratings where rated) with the official INCI list printed on the Amazon listing. COSDNA could not be reached for an independent acne / irritant / safety cross-check (see Methodology), so the table below is built from Skinsort + the official INCI.

3.1 Ingredient function distribution

3.2 Claim matrix (“What’s inside”)

3.3 Risk-level classification

Most ingredients in this formula carry no published comedogenic or irritancy rating. Two ingredients are explicitly rated low-risk (0/0); the remainder are unrated in the source database. Separately, the formula triggers four sensitivity flags from the claim matrix.

4. User Reviews & Community Perception

“I have really sensitive skin and am afraid of scrubs…” — Verified Amazon reviewer (rating withheld for privacy)

Full review bodies beyond short preview snippets were not retrievable from the listing, so only a representative preview is quoted. No reviewer identity is published.

4.1 Skinsort community ingredient votes

Skinsort community votes: 16 ingredients liked, 8 disliked, 4 mixed or unrated. This is a weak sentiment signal on individual ingredients, not a product verdict.

5. Reported Benefits

The strongest benefit claims by supporting-ingredient count are Hydrating (7), Reduces Irritation (6) and Redness Reducing (5). Benefit counts of 1 indicate a single ingredient carries the claim and are weak evidence.

6. Concerns (ingredient-class warnings)

ConcernDescription
May Worsen EczemaMay worsen itching or irritation for eczema.
May Worsen DrynessCan strip moisture and worsen dryness.
May Worsen RosaceaCan trigger flare-ups in rosacea-prone skin.
May Worsen IrritationMay cause stinging, redness, or sensitivity.

Concerns are class-level ingredient warnings, not a verdict on the product or the individual user.

7. What’s Inside — Claim Badges

Beautified from the “What’s inside” claim matrix. Green = claim met, red = claim not met.

Alcohol-free Paraben-free Silicone-free Sulfate-free Cruelty-free Pore-clogger-free Reef-safe Vegan Not EU-allergen-free (Limonene) Not Fragrance-free (3 fragrance ingredients) Not Oil-free (2 oils) Not Fungal-acne-safe (1 flagged)

Note: “Fragrance-free = NO” means the product is not fragrance free (3 fragrance ingredients added for scent). This is the single highest-attention flag for sensitive-skin users.

8. Product Images

Real product photos could not be retrieved. Amazon’s image CDN and the automated listing capture were bot-walled in this environment, and the COSDNA / price-history sources were Cloudflare-blocked. No main or buyer images were obtainable, so no image gallery is displayed. This section documents the limitation rather than presenting broken or fabricated images.

9. Product Price

The dedicated price-history source was Cloudflare-blocked through every available channel, so no historical low / high / average / current series could be transcribed. The only available figure is the upstream collection-plan snapshot price.

9.1 Price bar chart (available data)

The bar reflects the single snapshot price carried from the upstream plan (Amazon US Best Sellers snapshot 2026-11-01). It is a point-in-time value, not a live quote, and no dated trend series exists to plot.

10. Methodology, Confidence & Limitations

Data sources

  • Amazon US listing — product identity, brand, specifications, rating volume, INCI ingredient list, description and use instructions (server-side page reader, 2026-11-02).
  • Skinsort community database — full 28-ingredient table with functions and ratings, claim matrix, concerns, benefits, key ingredients and community votes (reader channel, 2026-11-02).
  • COSDNA — unreachable (Cloudflare verification page on every attempt); no independent acne / irritant / safety ratings obtained.
  • Price-history tracker — unreachable (Cloudflare verification page); no historical price series obtained.

Limitations

  1. No data was invented; unavailable fields are stated as such.
  2. Live USD price required a US delivery-address switch that was blocked; only the snapshot price is carried.
  3. COSDNA and the price-history tracker were Cloudflare-blocked, so independent ingredient-risk ratings and historical price trends are absent.
  4. Product images could not be retrieved; the image gallery documents the limitation.
  5. Review histogram and full review bodies were not exposed; only a short preview is quoted, with no reviewer identity.
